TRYK — LEGAL
Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and TRYK for using the service at gettryk.com. By creating an account or joining a workspace, you accept them. We wrote them in plain language on purpose — if anything here is unclear, ask us before you rely on it.
What TRYK is
TRYK is an AI-native execution operating system for startup teams. Your team keeps its objectives, projects, tasks, meetings, decisions and documents in a shared workspace, and TRYK — the AI layer — reads those records to prepare plans, drafts and answers for you.
One rule never changes: TRYK prepares, people approve. The AI never writes to your records or takes an outside action on its own. Every change it proposes reaches your workspace only when an authorized person reviews and approves it, and every execution leaves a receipt you can inspect.
Accounts and workspaces
You sign up with your own account and are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for what happens under your account. A workspace belongs to the company that created it; the workspace's owners and admins decide who is invited, what role each person holds, and what each role may see and do. If you join someone else's workspace, their admins can change or remove your access.
You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and the information you give us must be accurate.
Trials, plans and billing
Every new workspace starts with a 14-day trial of the full service — no card required. When a trial ends and no paid plan is chosen, the workspace moves to Manual mode: all of your records stay in place, editable by hand, and the AI layer simply stops. We never delete or lock your data because a trial ended.
Paid plans (Solo, Startup and Scale) are billed per workspace through Stripe, our payment processor. Prices are shown on the site before you buy. Where Stripe's Managed Payments applies, Stripe calculates and adds any applicable sales tax on top of the plan price. Extra seats and run packs (bundles of additional AI runs, valid for 12 months) are billed as described at checkout — no charge is ever made without a checkout you complete.
You can cancel a subscription at any time; it stays active until the end of the period you paid for and then the workspace returns to Manual mode. Except where the law requires it, payments already made are not refundable.
Your content
Your records, documents and other content remain yours. You give TRYK the limited permission it needs to store, display, copy and process that content in order to run the service — including sending relevant parts of it to the AI models that prepare your plans and answers. That permission ends when you delete the content or close the workspace; it never transfers ownership to us, and we never sell your content.
You are responsible for the content you put into your workspace and for having the right to share it with your team and with us.
Acceptable use
Use TRYK for your company's real work. Don't use it to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, send spam or harmful content, probe or disrupt the service or other accounts, or misrepresent who you are. We may suspend an account or workspace that does this, and we'll say why whenever we reasonably can.
AI output can be wrong
TRYK's plans, drafts, summaries and answers are machine-generated. They can be incomplete, out of date, or simply wrong — that's exactly why nothing executes without a person's approval. Review AI output before you rely on it, the way you would a new hire's first draft. TRYK is a work tool; it is not legal, financial, tax or medical advice.
Availability and changes
TRYK is a young service and it will change: features are added, adjusted and occasionally removed, and the service may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We provide the service "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, TRYK's total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or $100 if you paid nothing), and neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Ending things
You can stop using TRYK at any time, cancel any subscription from your workspace settings, and ask us to delete your account and data by emailing support. We may end or suspend access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken. If we ever shut the service down, we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your records first.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll post the new version here with a new date and, for significant changes, tell workspace owners in the app or by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use TRYK after a change takes effect means you accept it.
